People do fall in love, they do get head over heels for someone but eventually, things change. Similar situations can be observed in the lives of our famous Bollywood celebrities. Since their life is an open book we tend to know a lot of things that they don't actually officially announce and the most prominent aspect is their relationships. We have come up with a list of some noteworthy Bollywood celebrities whose love bloomed like a flower but due to lack of nourishement, it eventually died.

1. Abhishek Bachchan & Karisma Kapoor

On October 11, 2002, at Amitabh Bachchan’s birthday party, Abhishek Bachchan and Karisma Kapoor announced their engagement after a five-year relationship. But their relationship did not last for long. Because, a few months later, in February 2003, the couple called it splits. Do you think this made it awkward between the Bachchan and Kapoor family?

2. Akshay Kumar & Raveena Tandon

Akshay Kumar's relationship was the most talked about gossip in Bollywood. Raveena and Akshay’s chemistry started in ‘Tip Tip Barsa Paani’ but soon everyone realized it was off-screen too. The two of them started dating in 1994 when they met on the set of Mohra. After a three year relationship, the actress broke up with Akshay Kumar.

3. Salman Khan & Sangeeta Bijlani

Rumour has it that even their wedding card was printed but Sangeeta broke up with Salman Khan in the last-minute. In Jasim Khan’s book, “Being Salman”, it was stated that on 27th May 1994, Salman Khan was to be married to the model-turned-actress. Salman Khan and Sangeeta Bijlani were quite a couple back in the 90s! If there's anyone on this list we want back together, it is them!

4. Sajid Khan and Gauhar Khan

We don't know if this is true but it is believed that the couple were dating and even got engaged in 2003. Sajid Khan revealed in an interview last year which made it quite obvious who he was talking about, “I was engaged to somebody once in 2003, a slightly popular name. Even that didn’t work out and I wasn’t a bad guy then. I didn’t cheat. I guess you just get bored. Plus, I am a reclusive person.”

5. Vivek Oberoi and Gurpreet Gill

Before entering showbiz, Vivek was engaged to model Gurpreet Gill. It was believed that Vivek’s busy schedule created differences between the two and the engagement was called off.

6. Sikander Kher and Priya Singh

Veteran Bollywood actors, Kirron and Anupam Kher’s son Sikander Kher got engaged to Priya Singh on January 29, 2016.ikander and Priya were expected to tie the knot anytime in 2016, but in mid of the year, there came several reports claiming that their wedding was called off. Apparently, the reason behind their split was the difference in their lifestyles about which they knew since the beginning.

7. Vijay and Malika Sherawat

The both first met on the show ‘Mere Khayalo Ki Malika. They both continued their relationship ever after this dating show. But the duo broke up after a year.

8. Nanda and Manmohan Desai

Regarded by many as one of the prettiest actresses of her generation, Nanda was once engaged to producer Manmohan Desai, but he died in an accident before the two could get married.The incident changed Nanda's life forever as she never got married.
