The trailer of Akshay Kumar's next movie Rustom is out and it promises to be a very entertaining film. Rustom is directed by Tinu Suresh Desai and is based on true story. Akshay Kumar plays Naval Commander Rustom Pavri who is accused of killing Vikram Makhija. The trailer shows Rustom killing Vikram after finding out about Vikram's affair with his wife (Ileana D'Cruz).
Rustom is based on the real life incident of Indian Naval officer Kawas Manekshaw Nanavati who was tried for the murder of his wife's lover Prem Ahuja. This crime if passion as it was popularly known received widespread publicity and press coverage back in 1959. K.M Nanavati received widespread public support, Nanavati was released after 3 years of imprisonment. He then emigrated to Canada with his wife and three children and settled in Toronto. K.M Nanavati died in 2003.
