‘Tigers’ Zee5 Exclusive: Film Where Salesman Emraan Hashmi Becomes a Hero

The trailer of Emraan Hashmi starrer Tigers is out and it is quite intriguing.  The film sees Emraan playing Ayan, who works for a corporate company that manufactures baby formula in Pakistan. But contrary to his expectations, the baby formula begins to have adverse effects on children. Not one to give in the pressure, he decides to take the system and corporate greed head on, he wants to break the chain and bring justice.

The film also stars Adil Hussain, Geetanjali Thapa, Satyadeep Mishra, Danny Huston and Supriya Pathak among others.

Tigers is helmed by Oscar winning director Danis Tanovic. He won the Academy Award for the 2001 movie No Man’s Land. No Man’s Land was nominated in the same category as Lagaan in 2001. Tigers was internationally premiered in 2014 at Toronto International Film Festival. The film was supposed to get an official release in India but owing to the controversial topic, based on the true story, the release was stalled.

Emraan Hashmi is also working on the feature film Cheat India. He will soon be seen in the Netflix original series Bard of Blood.
