Directed by Deven Bhojani, Sarabhai vs Sarabhai was a popular TV sitcom featuring a quintessential upper-class family in Mumbai. The show, broadcast from 2004 to 2006, on STAR One, was one of the most popular TV shows of that time and enjoyed one of the best TRPs for an Indian comedy show.
The show revolves around the life of an upper class Gujarati family, the Sarabhais, who live in a luxury apartment building in the upmarket Cuffe Parade area of South Mumbai.
Now the popular Sitcom is all set to return as a web series with many of the original actors, but will take a seven-year leap.
After a gap of over a decade, 'Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai' is set to return as a web series with its original cast, including Satish Shah, Ratna Pathak Shah, Sumeet Raghavan, Rupali Ganguly and Rajesh Kumar.
The show will be aired on Hotstar and the first promo has already been released. The video shows all the popular characters Monisha, Maya, Indravadan, Sahil and the rest. The characters are arguing on deciding the name for season 2 of the show.
