Award Winning Pakistani movie director 'Shoaib Mansoor' is all set to release his third film after Khuda Kay Liye and Bol. 'Verna' stars Mahira Khan in the lead role.

Shoib Mansoor is undeniably one of the best Pakistani directors of our time. After receiving critical acclaim and collecting many awards for Bol and Khuda Ke Liye, Mansoor is back with his third directorial venture titled 'Verna'. Verna is a social-drama movie written and directed by Shoaib Mansoor and starring Mahira Khan in the lead role. Haroon Shahid, Zarrar Khan, Naimal Khawar and Rasheed Naz will also be seen in this movie. This is Mansoor's third film that deals with the social issues regarding women in Pakistan, and second collaboration with Khan after her debut role in his 2011 film Bol.
The story revolves around Mahira Khan who plays the role of a school teacher raped by a politician’s son (played by Zarrar Khan), and how it leaves her emotionally scarred and deeply impacts her marital life. The legal battle that ensues makes for an intense courtroom drama. Verna is all set to release in November 2017 in Pakistan.
