The makers of Kedarnath have unveiled teaser of the film. Sushant Singh Rajput is seen carrying a dreamy Sara Ali Khan through the devastating Uttarakhand floods that left the region devastated. The tagline of the film is Love Is A Pilgrimage and shows that nothing in the world can defeat the emotion of true love. Sushant seems like a man on a mission while Sara has a carefree expression on her face. In a colourful traditional outfit, she looks quite pretty. The film is slated to release on December 7, which means that this will be her debut film.
Sushant and Sara play Mansoor and Mukku. Mansoor is a porter who lives with his widowed mother and helps pilgrims make the journey to Kedarnath. His life changes when he meets Mukku. The film is set on the 14 km of pilgrimage from Gauri Kund to Kedarnath. Kedarnath is a 2000-year-old temple of Lord Shiva.

The film is set against the 2013 Uttarakhand Floods that caused a lot of destruction in the area. Directed by Abhishek Kapoor of Rock On!! and Kai Po Che fame, Kedarnath releases on December 7. Watch the teaser here:
