Dhadak box office prediction: Ishaan and Janhvi's romantic drama to earn around Rs 7 crore on its opening day
Karan Johar's production venture Dhadak is all set to hit the screens tomorrow at the box office. The romantic drama launches Shahid Kapoor's brother Ishaan Khattar and Sridevi's daughter Janhvi Kapoor. It is the official remake Nagraj Manjule's blockbuster Sairat.

Dhadak's trailer and songs have already created a great buzz around the film, which will definitely help the film to get a good opening at the ticket windows. Sairat the Marathi movie crossed Rs 100 crore and became the first Marathi film to achieve that milestone.
As per trade expert Amul Mohan, the romantic drama is expected to collect around Rs 7 crore on its first day. Since the film features newcomers in the lead roles, if Dhadak manages to achieve this figure, it will be commendable. The film has all the elements of being a typical masala entertainer, which includes emotions, chartbuster songs, and mass appeal. Dhadak has also grabbed good attention due to the crackling chemistry between its lead pair. After its opening day, the word of mouth from the audience will come in to play and if Dhadak strikes the right chord with the movie buffs, it will definitely become one of the biggest surprise hits of the year.
The most positive thing about the film is its smart budget and youth appeal, which will attract both single screens as well as the multiplex audience. Dhadak is directed by Shashank Khaitan, who previously helmed films like Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania. It also features Ashutosh Rana, Ankit Bisht and Shridhar Watsar in pivotal roles.
