Dassehra seems to be another vigilante cop story with Neil’s character going on a revenge rampage after politics and law join hands to stop the juggernaut of justice in the murder of four women in a hostel. Add to that a lot of dhamakedaar action sequences juxtaposed to (presumably metaphorical) raam leela performances. The trailer portrays the complexities of a murder investigation since politics is shown to be involved in it. Also, Neil is seen chasing down the perpetrators.
Dassehra is a political thriller based on a true story of crime and politics. It has the backdrop of a politically destabilised state and places which symbolise politician mafia network, heinous crimes, cunning politicians and reckless criminals.
We started this journey a few years ago. Finally it's seeing the light of day. All the best Team #Dassehra @tinadesai07
