Plot: Malhotra(Kay Kay Menon) runs a factory that pollutes a river, he wants to build a bridge to increase his factory's efficiency but he must demolish Aman's (Tiger Shroff) house for the bridge's construction. Aman's Mom (Amrita Singh) refuses to sell her house because it is her Pati Parmeshwar ki nishaani and also there is this 200 year old holy tree in their society and iss tree mein magical powers hai. So Malhotra hires Raka (Nathan Jones) to kill Aman and cut the tree with his chainsaw. Raka is about to kill Aman when something magical happens and Aman becomes a powerful superhero, a Flying Jatt. Raka is defeated but he later becomes a Super Villain with supernatural powers. He comes back more powerful by inhaling polluted air and now A Flying Jatt stands no chance against Raka. Aage kya hota hai? Jaanne ke liye head towards your nearest cinema hall and catch this flick with your children. And O yes, I forgot to mention, the movie also features Jacqueline Fernandes as the female lead.

Kya Achcha Laga? What was good? Let us fill the Acchai Ka Potla by talking good about the movie first:

  • Superhero: Finally Krish ke baad koi Superhero toh aaya!! Kids..come on..cheer up now..you guys have a new superhero. We so needed a new Superhero and A Flying Jatt is here to stay. We won't be surprised if we see a sequel to the movie.

  • Tiger Shroff: This lad is so restrained, controlled, disciplined and  makes the movie a pleasant watch. He is a good actor and  seems extremely down to earth in the movie. He gets into the character so well, his innocence makes the movie entertaining.

  • Background Music:  Ok there is one good song Beat Pe Booty, but it is the background music that will hold your interest. The background score is absolutely perfect in all the scenes.

  • Amrita Singh: This lady is kamaal ki actress. Kaash Saif Ali Khan acting seekh leta Amrita Singh se, at least he would have been in the same league as the other khans. Amrita Singh shows us why she is renowned for her acting skills. One scene where I loved her acting was when she discovers that her son has got supernatural powers. Amrita was flawless in that scene.

  • Nathan Jones: Raka reminds us of Amrish Puri. He is scary and evil like. From his looks to his avatar to his voice, he is full of Kaminaapan and we our heart screams "Kaminay tu badi buri maut marega Flying Jatt ke haathon".

  • Anti Pollution:  One good thing about the movie is that it sends out the right message. Stop polluting the environment.

  • Sunny Leone's Baby Doll: Tiger Shroff's dance on Sunny Leone's Baby Doll was hilarious.

Now my favorite part. The Bashing Zone. Let me talk about a few WTF points too:

  • Anyone who wears a Flying Jatt costume is assumed to be the real Flying Jatt:   Remo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yaar we all have brains. We removed one star just because of this stupidity. Aman's (Tiger's) friend Rohit wears Aman's costume and everyone including the villain assume that Rohit is the real Flying Jatt. This was the most ridiculous WTF scene and this instance is repeated a few times in the movie.

  • Poor SFX/CGI:  There are a few scenes where A Flying Jatt is flying countryside, it looked so fake, as if Tiger was in a diff frame and peeche koi aur frame chal raha tha. Yaar ek wire daalke Tiger ko tangwaa lete and fly karwa lete. That scene was so Indian. The director reminds us "audience aap log developing or garib mulk ke rehne wale ho...this is the most sophisticated flying scene CGI you deserve".

  • Jacqueline Fernandez:  Is there a 'National Institute of Overacting' in India ?? I always wonder where do these actresses graduate from. Was she even required in this movie. The opening scene where she enters and starts dancing and overacting and screaming "Notice me.. mujhe dekho..main bhi hooon heroine iss movie mein"

  • Kissing Scene:  Remo ji...if you made a movie for Kids, then at least don't put kissing scenes in movies. It becomes embarrassing for elders to watch the movie with kids. The kissing scene was uncalled for.

Conclusion:  A few WTF scenes but the movie is definitely a must watch for all entertainment lovers. Hail the new Bollywood superhero!!! Tiger Shroff!!
