Tollywood's Link With Drug Peddlers: Item Girl Mumaith Khan Summoned By Excise Department
Tollywood actress Mumaith Khan will be quitting reality TV Show Bigg Boss Telugu after receiving summons from the Excise Department as part of the ongoing investigation into Tollywood's links with drug peddlers.

Tollywood item girl and actor Mumaith Khan will soon leave for Hyderabad from the Bigg Boss House in Lonavala for questioning by the excise department officials on July 27, 2017.
"The actress will appear before SIT on July 27 for the questioning," enforcement director Akun Sabarwal said. The SIT officials, who could not trace the actress at her residences in Hyderabad and Mumbai, contacted the Big Boss organizers to serve the notice. The authorities have known her whereabouts only after the Big Boss show was aired on Television. Others film personalities like Puri Jagannadh and Subbaraju have already been questioned by the SIT in the drug peddling case.
Personal mobile phone numbers of these film personalities were also found in the mobile phones seized from one of the culprits, Calvin Mascaranhas, who was allegedly supplying drugs to school and college children, along with at least nine other gang members, all of whom have been arrested. Officials suspect that the high-profile gang was peddling Lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD) and Methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA) also commonly called acid and molly or molecule.
Mumait Khan may return to Bigg Boss post the investigation is complete.
