Akshay Kumar starrer Toilet Ek Prem Katha has performed way above expectations and finished third in Worldwide Business of Bollywood movies this year.

Toilet Ek Prem Katha grossed over Rs. 209 Crore in the first 6 weeks of its release worldwide. The movie outperformed any other Bollywood movie released in the last two months. Expectations are high from David Dhawan's upcoming movie Judwaa 2. As far as the ranking of Top 3 highest grossing movies of the year is concerned, Bahubali: The Conclusion stands at number 1 and SRK's Raees is at number 2. Raees had collected Rs. 272 crore. The numbers looked ordinary for Raees back then considering that it had Shah Rukh Khan in the lead, but looking at how the other movies fared this year, Raees' performance is now considered as very impressive.
