The Siddharth P Malhotra directed film Hichki released a few days ago in China. Starring Rani Mukherji the film opened on a slow note, however over the opening weekend the business of Hichki at the China box office saw good growth. Produced by Yash Raj Films , the inspiring social drama which projects a message on equality and inclusivity has won the hearts of many across the world with its social message of equality.
The talented B-Town actress Rani Mukerji's comeback vehicle 'Hichki' hit the right note at the Box Office in the country. With the film, the actress made a positive impact with her performance as Naina Mathur, a school teacher dealing with an involuntary nervous system disorder, Tourette Syndrome. She won awards and accolades for playing the role of a specially-abled character, who not only changes her life but also the lives of children from economically backward areas by not succumbing to life's obstacles. The actress stunned the audiences with her powerful performance in 'Hichki'—her comeback vehicle post marriage and pregnancy. The film released in China a few days back and has created a similar impact there as well.
Now on its fifth day running at the China box office, Hichki has managed to draw in a further USD 820K [Rs. 6.02 cr]. With this the total collections of the film within the Chinese market is nearing the Rs. 50 cr mark. In fact, currently the total collections of Hichki at the China box office are pegged at Rs. 44 cr.
Noted film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and shared the official poster.
