'Race 3' directed by Remo D'Souza boasts of an ensemble cast including Salman, Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Daisy Shah and Saqib Saleem in pivotal roles.
If reports are anything to go by, Khan slashed down the promotional budget of ‘Race 3’ and plans to offer the same to charity.
Amazingly, Race 3 will not have any major competition until Sanju hits theatres on June 29. That's a good two-week head start for the film. On Sunday, the film has every chance of crossing the Rs 100 crore mark.
Race 3 is making quick work of whatever little competition it has. Both Veere Di Wedding and Parmanu seem to be on their way out. Race 3 is the third film in the Race franchise that began in 2008. The first two films in the franchise were directed by Abbas-Mustan.
So far the film has not behaved like a failure as it has generated huge money not only at the box office but also from the non-theatrical recovery. But the real test will be on Monday and Tuesday as the boost from Eid will be less. One thing is clear that it is not going to be a huge grosser.
In the past, three Salman starrers have crossed ₹ 100 cr mark in *3 days*:#BajrangiBhaijaan ₹ 102.60 cr [Fri-Sun]#Sultan ₹ 105.53 cr [released on Wed; Wed-Fri]#TigerZindaHai ₹ 114.93 cr [Fri-Sun]#Race3 *3 days* numbers are being eyed with enthusiasm.
