Race 3 Collected 29 crores on its first Friday. It is the highest opening of 2018 after Baaghi 2 and Padmaavat. The movie took a huge jump on Saturday as it was a national holiday. Fans came out to watch the movie. The movie took a jump of 25% and collected 36 crores on its first Saturday. The movie had the potential to reach 40 crores, but since the reviews of the movie were mostly negative, it started affecting the business.
After a national holiday on Saturday, the Sunday’s figures were little better than Saturday. Race 3 collected 37 crores on Sunday which helped the movie to cross 100 crores marks at the domestic market. Race 3 stood at a huge total of 102 crores net after three days. It is 4th Salman Khan film to cross 100 crores marks in three days after Bajarangi Bhaijaan, Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai.
The movie dropped 45% on Monday compared to Friday which was decent. Single screen theatre in UP, Bihar, Gujrat, and Mumbai saw a drop in the weekday collections. Race 3 collected 15.5 crores net on its first Monday. It's first heavy drop started on Tuesday. The movie dropped heavily and collected 8.5 crores on Tuesday. It is a 40% drop as compared to Monday. EID holiday was over and the movie faced heavy drop as it was expected. The public reports for the movie were majorly negative. Even Salman Khan fans seemed disappointed with the movie. Since there was no new release on the second weekend, the movie still managed to rake decent collection.
With Sanju released last week, Race 3 is wiped out from the theatres. The word of mouth for Sanju is extraordinary and for Race 3, it was worse. Race 3 collected only 1 crore in its third week. The total collection after the third week is 177.37 crores which is almost equal to Sanju Five days collection. Below is the box office collection of Race 3.
