Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have made their relationship official with Roka ceremony at the actress' residence in Mumbai. The couple will throw an engagement bash later in the evening. Cousin Parineeti Chopra is among the firsts to arrive.

After months of rumours and speculation, Bollywood actor Priyanka Chopra and American singer Nick Jonas made their relationship official with a roka ceremony held today morning. This roka cRokaony will be followed by a star-studded party later tonight where Nick will meet Priyanka’s friends and colleagues.
Nick Jonas’ parents are also in the country to attend the bash along with the Chopra family. A source close to indianexpress.com earlier revealed that the Chopras booked 200 rooms in a hotel for the guests, many of whom are arriving from the United States. Ranveer Singh, Karan Johar, Manish Malhotra, Sophie Choudry and Raveena Tandon are expected to attend the ceremony tonight.

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ engagement ceremony has begun in Mumbai at Priyanka’s residence with a traditional puja. While Nick Jonas popped the question in London in July and Priyanka Chopra said yes, the couple is now getting engaged according to Indian rituals. The Priyanka Chopra-Nick Jonas roka ceremony is a private affair with only the family and some close friends present. According to reports, the traditional engagement ceremony will be followed by an engagement party in the evening that will begin late.

While Priyanka Chopra chose a yellow suit for her engagement ceremony, fiancee Nick Jonas also decided to go desi and wore an off-white kurta-pyajama. Despite all the security, a photo of the two with a giant NP, standing for Nick and Priyanka, went viral within minutes. Priyanka and Nick looked completely into each other as they smiled and talked during the traditional roka ceremony.
