Post Her Tiff With Armaan, Sonakshi Sinha Blocks Singer Sona Mohapatra

Recently Sonakshi Sinha and Armaan Malik were engaged in a war of words over actors taking over singers' domain.  It all began when Armaan Malik retweeted a status announcing Sonakshi Sinha's opening act at the upcoming Justin Bieber tour. Armaan wrote, "Agree with @Kailashkher sir! Actors are actors & singers are singers. Leave the stage & mic to us, that's our playground, not yours."

His Tweet didn't go down too well with Sonakshi Sinha. Sonakshi Tweeted, "A secure artist wud always encourage another artist to grow their skills and follow their dreams. Art in any form should not be suppressed."

Armaan had replied, "I Agree with u sonakshi.. but I voiced what I felt about how singers are shunned in our country & given lesser importance than actors!!(sic)"

This made Sonakshi lose her cool as she responded back saying, "And this is definitely not the same tune you were singing when you wanted me to sing for you(sic)".

Now post the controversy, Sonakshi Sinha has blocked singer Sona Mohapatra. Sona has never collaborated with Sonakshi nor did she comment on the Armaan Malik-Sonakshi Sinha war of words, so nobody really knows the main reason for this move of Sonakshi Sinha.

Superstar and close friend Salman Khan could be the reason, we reckon. The actress, who was launched by the Khan brothers in ‘Dabangg’, was part of Sallu Bhai’s recently concluded Da-Bangg tour and may be Sona’s comments on the superstar’s acquittal irked the actress.

When Singer Sona noticed that Sonakshi Sinha had blocked her on Twitter, she tweeted a screenshot that said @SonakshiSinha has blocked you and wrote, "Hahahaha! Not that I’d ever followed this bundle of talent, grace & intelligence."

Sona Mohapatra also took a subtle jibe at Sonakshi Sinha in a different post on Instagram. She wrote, " The equally good news is that Madam 'Actor' won't be the opening act for any Music concert in a hurry, & will stick to the lip-sync dance routines in TV award shows for now."
