Karan Johar Takes His Twins Home

Bollywood director Karan Johar had recently announced on Twitter that he had two special additions in his life and was ecstatic as he announced the news to the world and spoke about parenthood with much awe.

"I am ecstatic to share with you all the two most wonderful additions to my life, my children and lifelines; Roohi and Yash. I feel enormously blessed to be a parent to these pieces of my heart who were welcomed into this world with the help of the marvels of medical science and in order to arrive at this decision, I have prepared myself mentally, physically, emotionally and logistically to ensure that my children get all the unconditional love, care and attention from me and mine. I have submitted to the fact that my children are my world and priority."

"By the grace of God, I have the most caring and supportive mother who will be an integral part in the up-bringing of her grandchildren and of course, friends who are family," he said.

Earlier, Johar, in his autobiography, "An Unsuitable Boy", had expressed a desire to adopt or have a surrogate child.

Karan named his twins Yash and Roohi. He named the baby boy after his late father Yash Johar, and the name of his baby girl is an anagram of his mother, Hiroo Johar's name.

Owing to the complications during the birth of his children, Karan's twins had to be kept in the hospital for a brief period.
