Padman, an adaptation of Twinkle Khanna's own novel on Arunachalam Muruganantham stars Akshay Kumar, Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte. Twinkle Khanna hopes that the movie will bring awareness. This will be Twinkle Khanna's production debut. Padman is a biopic on Arunachalam Muruganantham, the inventor of a low-cost sanitary pad making machine in India. She also questioned why the United States have no tax on Viagra in many states, but have taxes imposed on Sanitary Pads.
