Jugal Hansraj acted as the lovable Sameer in ' Mohabbatein', which went on to become the second highest grossing film of the year 2000. He also played the character role of Sanjeev Mehta in 'Aaja Nachle', and did a cameo role in 'Pyaar Impossible'.
Jugal started his journey in B-Town with blockbuster “Masoom”, where he played an innocent, patient and rather cute little boy, who clearly bowled the audience with his piercing eyes, silent expressions and overloaded cuteness!
With a trail of average movies such as “Papa Kehte Hai” and “Aa Gale Lag Jaa”, he finally stumped the wickets with 2000-released “Mohabbatein”, alongside a multi-billion star-cast.
During a night-out with close friend Karan Johar, he was the one who gave KJo the tune and eight lines of the most ever-romantic song in Indian Cinema, “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai”.
Another recognition in his kitty was when he won the National Film Award for Best Director (Animation) for “Roadside Romeo” in 2008, a Yash Raj Films and Walt Disney Studios production.
He is currently enjoying the marital bliss with his long-time lover and now wife, Jasmine Dhillon, an NRI investment banker from New York.
