Happy birthday, Sonu Sood: The Actor Turns 45 Years Old.

Sonu Sood debuted in filmdom with Tamil film `Majunu` and `Kallazhagar`. Sonu Sood is well-known for his work down South, but it was with `Dabangg` (2010) that he started getting all the media attention and plum deals in Bollywood. With Shah Rukh Khan‘s Happy New Year the boy from Punjab has now entered into the world of fame.

Sood also got noticed for his performance as Abhishek Bachchan`s brother in Mani Ratnam`s `Yuva` and in `Aashiq Banaya Aapne`. The actor is well-remembered for playing Rajkumar Sujamal in `Jodha Akbar` too. The actor is also known for his well-maintained physique too. The handsome actor is very well known for his robust and fit body. He also won an award for his negative role in Salman Khan's 'Dabangg'.

The actor became the recipient of Andhra Pradesh's State Nandi Award for Best Villain and the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor, for his Telugu blockbuster Arundhati. The actor garnered the Apsara Award for Best Actor in a Negative Role and the IIFA Award for Best Performance in a Negative Role for the Bollywood blockbuster Dabangg, in 2010. He is best known for roles in blockbuster films such as Yuva (2004), Athadu (2005), Aashiq Banaya Aapne (2005), Jodhaa Akbar (2008), Dookudu (2011) and Shootout at Wadala (2013).

In 2012, he received the SIIMA Award for Best Actor in a Negative Role for Julayi.
