On 29 February 2016, Preity Zinta married her American boyfriend Gene Goodenough at a private ceremony in Los Angeles. Goodenough is Senior Vice President for Finance at NLine Energy, a US-based hydroelectric power company. Her wedding was not publicized. Later Priety and Gene flew down to mumbai to celebrate their marriage with Preity's closest friends in Mumbai. Preity was dressed in a red Manish Malhotra gown and looked looked gorgeous.
