Deepika Wins The 'Most Popular Indian Actress on Social Media' Award

“The green capital Amaravati really attracted me a lot and I am truly privileged to be here this evening,” said Padmavati actress Deepika Padukone after receiving the award for Most popular Indian Actress on social media, during the social media awards event held in the city on Sunday.

The Padmavati actress said, “My fans follow me actively on social media, that’s why I am active on social media. I share majority of my things related to the films, endorsements, travel, etc on the social media. Except my personal things, I share everything with my followers and as they like my posts, they are following me and that made me receive this award tonight.”

Bahubali actor Daggubati Rana received the award as most active south India actor on social media.  Rana said, “Through social media, I have reached every corner of the country. Social media plays a vital role in film promotions. I think, I am the only actor in the industry who is more on social media and less on work."
