Dangal Crosses 495 Crore Worldwide, Set To Beat Sultan

Aamir Khan's Dangal is outperforming almost every Bollywood movie released in 2016, including Sultan. While the sports drama has collected over Rs. 353.50 crore (262.71 crore nett) at the domestic box-office, it has fetched a whopping Rs 140 crore in the overseas market, taking the worldwide collection to a figure of over Rs. 495 crore.

The film still has plenty of legs so should comfortably cross 600 crore Worldwide though the PK total looks difficult unless there is a Far East release down the line and it manages to get numbers there. Dangal will soon reach or cross Sultan's total collections. Do remember that Sultan made a lotta money in Pakistan and Dangal was not released in Pakistan, yet it managed to close in on Sultan's collections so quickly.
