Bollywood Stars Mourn Uri Attack

On September 18, 2016, Pakistani terrorists carried out terror strikes on Indian Army Base in Uri, Jammu and Kashmir.  It has been reported as one of the deadliest attacks on Indian Security Forces in Kashmir in two decades. 18 Indian Army Soldiers lost their lives for our country.  The militants were trained in Pakistan which is said to be a Global Terrorist Hub.

Bollywood actors took to Twitter to offer their condolences to the families of our martyrs.

Actor Sooraj Pancholi offered his condolences to the families and saluted the army for its bravery.

Actor Rajkumar Rao tweeted "My heart goes out to the families of our martyrs. You all will be in our prayers our beloved soldiers."

Actor Randeep Hooda shared a photo of our brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives for India.

Shraddha Kapoor offered her prayers and love to the families of our brave Jawans who lost their lives in protecting us all.

Shahid Kapoor also come out in support of our Jawans.

Actress Diana Penty whose latest movie Happy Bhag Jayegi worked towards a friendly India-Pak ties also came out in support of the families of our martyrs.

Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan tweeted "Heart goes out to the martyrs and their families. Your sacrifices won't go in vain. #respect #UriAttacks"

Anushka Sharma tweeted "The soldier above all others prays for peace,for its him who must suffer & bear deepest wounds & scars of war-Douglas MacArthur #UriAttacks"

The beautiful and talented Alia Bhatt also offered her condolences to the families of our brave Jawans.  She was extremely disturbed by the Uri Attacks.

Bollywood's dancing diva Madhuri Dixit was extremely saddened to hear about the cowardly attack in Uri and offered her prayers for the martyrs and their beloved families.

Bollywood actor Ajay Devgan was outraged over the attack and stated : "Not 17 families, 1 family - India, enough is enough!"

Superstar Akshay Kumar prayed for an end to this mindless terrorism.
