After Padmawati, Shahid Kapoor To Sign His 2nd Film With SLB

We all know that Shahid Kapoor will be seen as Deepika Padukone's husband in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming movie 'Padmawati', which also stars Ranveer Singh.  This is Shahid Kapoor's first film with SLB in his 14-year movie career.  And now, it is learnt that he is in the process of signing another film with SLB’s production house, even before the shooting for the first one has wrapped.

Bhansali always repeats his actors once he reaches a comfort level with them. Salman Khan has acted with him twice, as has Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are currently shooting their third film with him. He is keen to have Shahid in this film. Says an insider, “It is the kind of film Shahid should be doing. It’s what his fans want to see him in. It is a light-hearted romcom with a lot of dancing. It’s the kind of film that his audiences have always loved. He has heard the script and liked it. He is getting a final narration and soon after, he might sign it. SLB is producing the film, and it will be directed by a new director.”

The film is titled Tuesdays And Fridays.
