Weddings are always full of fanfare and celebrations for TV soaps in India. These elaborate scenes take days to plan, weeks to shoot to ensure that they captivate the audience with the most gripping storyline. This time, it’s Dangal TV's Ranju ki Betiyaan that is all set to entertain its audience with a spicy wedding between Shalu, Ranju’s oldest daughter played by Monika Chauhan and her on-screen beau Vishesh played by Naveen Pandita
The team shot this sequence for 4 long days in Silvassa surrounded by restrictions. Sharing her experience Monika says, "The experience of shooting the sequence has been a roller coaster ride. From carrying the heavy look to shooting in this crazy sun, everything made it challenging but it was a lot of fun too. One thing I realised is that it may look easy, but wearing the outfit for multiple days can be very difficult. Apart from that, the Bidai sequence became a really special moment for us as everyone on set got emotional during that scene as all of us have a very strong bond now and we felt the actual emotions. This wedding sequence will always be in our memories."
Talking about the further twists in the story, she said, "The expectations for further twist in the story are going to be very interesting, as Shalu would be a part of Vishesh's family but his mother dislikes Shalu. I am sure the audience will enjoy everything we bring to them." Seems like the audience is going to have a roller coaster ride. Monika also shared that the wedding episodes were very emotional for the entire cast to shoot as it was the last episodes they shot in Silvassa before coming back to Mumbai.
Ranju Ki Betiyaan is a heart touching story of a single mother Ranju and her struggles of raising 4 daughters in a patriarchal society. It delves into the various societal issues faced by single mothers, and will witness Ranju empowering herself to raise her four daughters single-handedly to help them achieve their dreams.
