Parents are undeniably the most important part of one's life. This Global Day of Parents, Amitt K Singh who is currently seen in Dangal TV's Ranju ki Betiyaan, takes an opportunity to look back at his favourite memories with his parents while he now lives away from them.

Talking about his parents, Amitt says, "My father is in the police and hence most of the time he’s out of town for work. When we were young, he would always give us pocket money when he used to go to a different place for work. This was a happy treat time for all of us. My elder brothers used to bluff that they would take my money, but it was all great fun. Ohh, I miss those days when my dad used to plan our annual family vacation. They were simple but the biggest part of our memories. Although my parents are from a small town but they have always encouraged all their children to dream big. They raised me well and gave wings to my dreams, whether it was studying textiles in NIFT or it was choosing acting in Mumbai. They always respected my choices and encouraged me. I have been really lucky to have such supportive parents."

He further adds, "The love and respect, I have for my parents is immeasurable. Today, whatever I am it's only because of them. Words are not enough to express my gratitude for them. I wish for them a long life, good health and wonderful times always."
