• Madhuri Dixit-Nene celebrated her 50th birthday on May 15, 2017.
• Madhuri Dixit holds a degree in Microbiology.
• Madhuri is the only female actor of her times to have been choreographed by Kathak exponent Pandit Birju Maharaj. He even went on to say that she is the best dancer in Bollywood.
• She entered the film industry in early 1980's but it was only after eight years that she got her first commercial blockbuster film, Tezaab. 

• During, Hum Aapke Hain Kaun Madhuri Dixit's salary was approximatly quoted to be (Rs.) 2.7 Crores INR . This was way back in 1994 which made Madhuri one of the highest paid actresses in 1990's.
• She is the recipient of the Padma Shri award (2008), India’s fourth-highest civilian award. 
• She married Los Angeles based Dr Shriram Madhav Nene on October 17, 1999 and took a sabbatical from films. She settled in the US where she raised her two sons, Raayan and Arin.
• One of her fans from Jamshedpur launched a calendar where the year begins with her birthday and had even appealed to the government to declare Madhuri's birthday as a public holiday.
