Rita Bhaduri was an Indian film, and now television actress. She initially appeared as supporting actress in various Bollywood films during the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s. She is most known for films like Sawan Ko Aane Do a 1979 Rajshri Productions film and Raja (1995) for which she received a Filmfare Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress. She had a supporting role as Julie's best friend in the hit film Julie (1975), where the song "Yeh Ratien Nayi Purani" was picturized on her.

She was from the 1973 batch of the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune and her batch included actress, Zarina Wahab. Rita Bhaduri plays the role of the grandmother in the serial Nimki Mukhiya. Rita Bhaduri has been associated with the Gujarati Film Industry. Even though not of Gujarati origin, she has been one of the exceptionally successful actresses in the Gujarati film industry.

She expired on 17th July 2018. Rita was suffering from a serious kidney ailment.
