• Parveen Babi had once said "Amitabh Bachchan is a super international gangster. He is after my life. His goons kidnapped me." Parveen was said to be mentally ill so her comment's were not taken too seriously. Parveen Babi died on January 20, 2005 at her Juhu Residence in Mumbai. There were rumors of Parveen Babi's affair with Amitabh Bachchan after they did multiple films together. In fact, when Parveen passed away, Amitabh Bachchan, in his tribute to Parveen, accepted that she was a great friend and that he would often frequent at her place.
   
• Due to his closeness with the Indian National Congress, Amitabh Bachchan was accused in Bofors Scam and Crime Against Humanity for the 1984 riots. He had distanced himself from politics post that incident.
   
• Late Sunil Dutt had signed Amitabh Bachchan for a mute person’s role in Reshma aur Shera only because of a letter of introduction from then PM Indira Gandhi to friend Nargis.
   
• It is hard to believe but Amitabh Bachchan had major trouble finding work because several actresses back then refused to be cast opposite Amitabh Bachchan, calling him a “Flop Actor”. A lotta actresses refused to work with him in Zanjeer until Jaya Badhuri signed it and the rest is history. Guess they must curse themselves now.
   
• Jaya is often heard saying, “Amitji is a loner!” That's too bad because the whole country loves him.
