After treating us with a striking teaser and motion posters of different characters from the film, the trailer of Mulk out today. The team of MULK is all excited with the release of the trailer today. 'Mulk' is an intense courtroom drama film.
Earlier this year, Rishi Kapoor gave an excellent performance in the family entertainer, 102 Not Out, where he played Amitabh Bachchan's son. Now he is all set to deliver another powerful performance, while also being seen in a new look, for his upcoming movie, Mulk.
'Mulk' is the story of a man called Murad Ali Mohammed, who is accused of being a traitor to India. A lawyer comes to his and his family's rescue and what begins next is an intense courtroom drama, which is sure to leave a deep impact on everyone.
This is Taapsee's second courtroom movie after 'Pink', the only difference is that the roles have been reversed this time. Instead of standing in the witness stand, she is donning the black coat of a lawyer this time. Taapsee has a fair share of some really intense dialogues and you have to watch the teaser to know what they are.
Mulk is directed by Anubhav Sinha, who has earlier helmed films like Tum Bin, Dus and Gulaab Gang. Mulk’s filming has been primarily done in Benares and Lucknow. The movie stars Rishi Kapoor, Taapsee Pannu, Prateik Babbar, Neena Gupta, Ashutosh Rana, Rajat Kapoor and Manoj Pahwa in significant roles. Mulk will hit the big screen on August 3, 2018, which already has Fanney Khan and Karwaan coming out on the same date.
