Films act as a getaway from the tough realities of life. Those three hours spent in a dark theatre open your window to fantasies.Here's a list of Bollywood films that will make you want to leave everything else and just travel.

There are movies that make you laugh till your sides hurt and some are those that make you cry like a baby, then there are movies that will make you happy and totally inspire you to have a trip either with your loved ones or on your own. Films make you go to your world, away from reality and if the film is about travel and involves beautiful locations, these kind of movies are that little push you need to take a trip somewhere you have been waiting for.

#Queen (2013): This movie has inspired a lot of girls to explore a solo trip to Paris. In this film, Kangana who plays the protagonist, finds her own identity while on a trip on her own, that she was initially forced to go on. #Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (2011): The story of three friends taking off on a Road Trip across Spain in itself elicits excitement. To top it off, the beautifully captured experiences of scuba diving, skydiving, La Tomatina festival, and the Pamplona bull run awaken the travel bug. After watching Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, a bachelor’s party is just not enough..This movie stars Farhan Akhtar, Hrithik Roshan, and Abhay Deol.

#Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (2013): This film makes you relive your fun trips you took with your friends during your college days. This is the perfect film which will make you immediately call your friends and plan a backpacking trip. #Tamasha (2015): This movie showed the beautiful Corsica to us with some beautiful locations and of course the lovely chemistry between Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone in the film. This film is the perfect getaway for someone who is looking for a nice holiday and experience some local flavors.

#Piku (2016): If you watch this movie with someone who is familiar with Kolkata, then you will surely hear, ‘Hey, I have been there,’ or, ‘Hey I know that place.’ Piku very subtly inspires you to travel. The drive on the Yamuna expressway to the halt at Varanasi and then finally the streets of Kolkata reflect rich cultural aspects of India and make the traveler in you want to go and learn more about these places.
