One of Bollywood's most loved couple, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone took to their respective Twitter handle to officially announce their wedding date. Sharing a card both in Hindi and English, the lovebirds announced that their wedding will take place on November 14 and 15 this year. a joint statement from both the stars said on Sunday. "With the blessings of our families, it gives us immense joy in sharing that our wedding is set to take place on the 14th and 15th November, 2018. We thank you for all the love you have showered upon us over the years and seek your blessings as we embark on this incredible journey of love, loyalty friendship and togetherness," read an excerpt from the statement posted by the couple on social media.
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have been on the trending list for the last few months, with fresh rounds of wedding rumours popping up every so often. The wedding venue hasn't been announced as of yet.Till a couple of weeks ago, Deepika and Ranveer neatly dodged questions about their rumoured wedding. "You are seeing this every day, including details about the colour of my sherwani and wedding gifts. But, when there is something, you will be the first to know," said Ranveer while Deepika referred to the speculations as, "There have been many November weddings." November 20 was speculated to be the couple's probable wedding date earlier.
Despite any official confirmation, several details about their reported wedding featured in headlines on an off. Some months ago, it was reported that no cell phones will be allowed at the wedding venue. The couple are also said to have a destination wedding in Italy's Lake Como with only friends and family. Meanwhile, shopping is already said to have begun at the Padukone and Singh houses.
