Halloween is majorly celebrated in the western countries from where it originated, India has also been propagating special parties and Halloween-themed night outs with spooky movies to watch.

Halloween is the best time to watch some horror flicks. It is that time of the year when you have the license to make that weak friend of yours scared. There is nothing than pulling out a tub of popcorn, get behind thick blankets, switch off the lights and watch some scary movies to celebrate the spooky night of Halloween. You can binge-watch on some amazing Bollywood movies. From psychological thrillers to comic-horror, the genre has done it all. Here we list you some nerve-wrecking horror movies to binge-watch this Halloween.

#1.Stree: This movie is scary and funny at the same time. The movie revolves around a quaint town of Chanderi where a spirit of an angry woman stalks men during the four-day festive period. At the night the spirit, referred as ‘Stree’, calls out men when they are alone and whisks them away. A tailor (essayed by Rajkumar Rao) falls in love with a girl (Shraddha Kapoor) who he meets during the four-day festival. His friends fear that the mysterious woman and ‘Stree’ could be the same woman who haunts the city.

#2.Pari: Ruksana (Anushka Sharma) is rescued in mysterious circumstances by Arnab (Parambrata Chatterjee). With no other option available he offers her refuge at his home until he comes across to a different side to her.

#3.1921: Directed by Vikram Bhatt, ‘1921’ features Zareen Khan and Karan Kundra in lead roles. Ayush (Karan) arrives in England to learn music and is shocked to learn that his apartment is haunted by spirits. To get rid of the spirits he seeks the help of Rose (Zareen), a woman who has powers to see and speak with spirits.

#4.Bhoot: At a time when Ram Gopal Verma made such movies and we were stunned. This Urmila Matondkar-starrer is all set to take you on a horror thriller ride.

#5.Tumbbad: Tumbbad is sure to bring some never felt before seen thrills with Sohum Shah and his son. As a father and his son encounter a legendary demon, take a trip during the 19th century India. And like the themes says, "Experience fear like never before."
