Phillauri is Anushka Sharma's second production. It is a supernatural romantic horror comedy directed by Anshai Lal and made under the banner of Fox Star Studios and Clean State Films. The movie stars Anushka Sharma, Diljit Dosanjh, Suraj Sharma and Mehreen Pirzada. Residents of Phillaur town (in Jalandhar district of Punjab) are known as Phillauris. The film is scheduled for release on March 24, 2017.

In the trailer, we see Suraj Sharma being forced to marry a tree before getting married to an actual girl, but it so happens that he gets married to Anushka Sharma's ghost living inside the tree. What happens next will be fun to watch. Check out the official trailer of Phillauri here:
