Salman Khan starrer Sultan is all set to storm the Box Office in India & Pakistan as it releases a day before Eid on July 6, 2016.

Ali Abbas Zafar, the director of Sultan has directed two movies in the past - Mere Brother in Dulhan and Gunday. Both the movies did decent business at the Box Office. This time the focus is not on Ali Abbas Zafar but on Salman Khan as Sultan will be Salman Khan's first release in 2016. He was last seen in Prem Ratan Dhan Payo which was released in November 2015.

Sultan's music is already ruling the charts, the trailer of Sultan has received millions of views and people have already started booking tickets for this weekend as advance booking is now open for Sultan. Eid is a big festival for Muslims in South Asia and it falls on Thursday July 7, 2016 in India. It is celebrated a day before in the middle east.

2 Pakistani movies are releasing with Sultan in Pakistan this Eid. They are 'Sawal 700 Crore Dollar Ka' and 'Tum Hi To Ho'. Bollywood movies are more popular in Pakistan as compared to the local films made in Lahore (Lollywood is what they calll it). Salman Khan enjoys more popularity than any Pakistani actor in Pakistan. Pakistani film makers are upset because most Cinema Halls are giving preference to Sultan over their movies. Cinema Owners say that Pakistani movies are no competition to Bollywood so screening them and suffering losses don't make any business sense and therefore they prefer screening Indian movies over Lollywood Movies.

This Ramadan Eid, Salman Khan starrer Sultan is expected to be the most profitable film. Sultan is expected to beat the box office record of a Pakistani movie titled Jawani Phir Nahi Ani which grossed Rs 7.5 Crores on the first 3 days of its release last year.
