'Karwaan' marks the Bollywood debut of Mithila Palkar and South star Dulquer Salmaan. The film revolves around the lives of three oddballs from different walks of life who are thrown together on a bizarre journey. Each character undertakes the journey only to find normalcy in their lives.

Irrfan Khan, who is currently undergoing treatment for neuroendocrine tumour in London, will reportedly join the team for promotions soon. Earlier, Irrfan made a brief appearance on Twitter by addressing a tweet to his first-time co-stars Mithila Palkar and Dulquer Salmaan, with whom he shares screen space in upcoming release Karwaan.

Directed by Akarsh Khurana, the film has been shot in the beautiful locales of Kerala. 'Karwaan' is slated to hit the screens on 3rd August 2018.
