Popularly known as Sivagami Devi, Bahubali actress Ramya Krishnan celebrates her 47th Birthday today. Ramya has also worked in Bollywood movies like Khalnayak opposite Sanjay Dutt, Chaahat opposite Shah Rukh Khan and Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan Opposite Amitabh Bachchan.
Ramya Krishnan was born to a Telugu father Krishnan and Tamil mother Maaya on September 15, 1970 in Chennai. She is the niece of veteran Tamil comedian Cho Ramaswamy and trained in classical dance forms. Ramya started her acting career in 1984 at the age of 13 with the Malayalam film Neram Pularumbol featuring Mammootty and Mohanlal in the lead. A few years later, Ramya became one of the famous leading actresses of Telugu industry in the 1990s.
Bollywood fans may remember her as the lead actress opposite Amitabh Bachchan in the movie Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan. Ramya Krishnan also starred with Shah Rukh Khan in the film ‘Chaahat’.
Ramya was also in Khalnayak in the title song. Ramya shot to fame across India and overseas with Bahubali 1 and 2. Her performance in Bahubali: The Conclusion was outstanding. We wish this beautiful and amazingly talented actress a Happy Birthday.
