Actors: Rinku Rajguru and Akash Thosar
Director: Nagraj Manjule
Music director: Ajay-Atul
Producers: Nittin Keni and Nikhil Sane
Rich girl from upper class falls in love with a poor boy from lower strata of the society and the trouble begins. Though the plot is old, it is the execution that holds the audience's interest.
Scoring very high on dialogues, this movie doesn't try to please the city audiences as the language has been kept as close to the rural marathi language spoken in Western Maharashtra.
Music is top notch. Ajay-Atul have not only composed the songs but have also penned them all. It is rare to find marathi music gaining universal acceptance, esp when everyone is trying to copy bollywood numbers. Sairat's music is an exception. You will simply fall in love with the tracks. Bollywood singing diva Shreya Ghosal's Aatach Baya is esp pleasing to the ears along with Ajay Gogavale's Yad Lagla.
Acting is top notch, direction is brilliant and the music holds your interest as well. Kudos to Nagraj Manjule for entertaining us with this memorable marathi film
