Raaz Reboot Movie Review

Poor CGI (The fake Crow from the Bhatt Camp), boring story and terrible acting makes Raaz Reboot an absolutely avoidable flick.

Raaz Reboot is the 4th instalment in the Raaz horror movie series. While the first movie was an absolute hit, the rest didn't quite live up to the expectations. Lets find out if this one is worth watching.

First thing first, we miss Bipasha Basu in horror movies. No matter how mediocre her actings skills are, she looks abasolutely amazing in her "Main Darr Gaye" mode.

Raaz Reboot is witten and directed by Vikram Bhatt and stars Emraan Hashmi, Kriti Kharbanda and Gaurav Arora in the lead roles.

Plot: Rehaan (Gaurav Arora) and Shaina (Kriti Kharbanda) return to Romania after a few years of their marriage. Things don't go too well in their married life and Shaina wants a kid and Rehaan doesn't wanna start a family in Romania. Shaina gets possessed and Rehaan has to do everything to ensure that she is free from that mysterious evil spirit. Emraan Hashmi (Aditya) plays Kriti's ex. The suspense factor, to an extent, is in guessing who does that evil spirit actually belong to? Has Rehaan done anything suspicious before marriage? Is Aditya responsible for this? Find out by watching this movie in your nearest cinema hall.

What we did like about the movie?

1. A few jump scares.
2. Gaurav Arrora is a decent actor.

What could have been better?

1. Suspense was no suspense at all. It was so predicatable.
2. The fake stupid black CGI crow that makes this movie look like a cheap bhojpuri flick. The Bhatt camp must get rid of these stupid fake CGI crows in their horror movies. Also notice that their crows don't shout Kaaw Kaaw, they make sounds like a wild bore instead.
3. Kriti Kharbanda: This lady just can't act. Did Vikram even take her auditions before casting her? She is a terrible actress.
4. Emraan Hashmi doesn't bring anything new. He kisses as usual but also tries to scare this time but in vain.
5. Ending: The ending was more like 1920 1st part.
6. Songs: Songs were just not needed.

Final Verdict: For those who love to watch horror flicks, this movie won't scare you that much. There are some scenes which are really scary but that is it. The film has nothing new to offer. In Mumbaiyya language we would call this a Faaltooo movie.
