Directed by Pawan Kripalani, Phobia is a psychological thriller featuring Radhika Apte as Mahek.

The film revolves around a talented artist 'Mahek' who starts suffering from agoraphobia after she gets molested by a cab driver. She refuses to go out of the house fearing that she may get assaulted again. Unable to handle Mahek's mental disorder, her sister takes help of Mahek's friend Shaan who then shifts her to a friend's place which is empty as the previous tenant has mysteriously disappeared. Interestingly, the building has quite a few people who are fighting a disorder of their own. Mahek befriends a college going girl named Nikki in that building and Nikki becomes the only person from that building who is allowed inside Mahek's house. Within a couple of days, Mahek starts experiencing strange things. Mahek confides in Nikki and Shaan but it is only Mahek who experiences those strange things. Are these things just in Mahek's head or is there something really wrong with that house? To know the climax, you will have to watch this movie.

Phobia is an 'edge of the seat thriller' which will keep you glued to your seat and send chills down your spine with its unnerving plot. At one point you would feel that you are watching a film about a mental disorder and the very next moment you will feel as if it is a horror movie and then again a new twist comes which changes your perception about the film. What we can surely say is that you won't be able to guess the climax. It isn’t a predictable movie. You will need to watch the movie to find out the climax.

Radhika Apte is an outstanding performer. She is absolutely perfect in her role and keeps us interested in the film throughout. Director Pawan Kriplani has shot the film spectacularly and the narrative is absolutely crisp and nerve wrecking. The film is illogical sometimes esp. when we see a patient of agoraphobia left to stay alone. We bet you won't be able to take your eyes off the screen.
