Twinkle’s sarcastic jib at Salman Khan in her recent column in Times of India was not taken that lightly by Salman Khan fans, who retaliated and trolled the actress on Twitter by digging up her past.

Excellent in dance, drama and art. Girl must be pretty, slim and enjoy long drives off the beaten path. Bride must not be very talkative, as groom cannot tolerate any buck buck. Caste no bar. Salman Khan fans didn't approve of Twinkle Khanna poking her nose in Salman Khan's personal affairs and trolled the actress mercilessly. Twinkle responded back. She tweeted, "I write social,political satire-will not examine an ant & spare an elephant because I fear getting trampled by the herd #TrollProof #CarryOn".
