Directed by Srijit Mukherji and produced by Mahesh and Mukesh Bhatt, Begum Jaan is an upcoming Bollywood movie featuring Vidya Balan.

Vidya plays the role of a Madam who runs a Brothel. The movie is set during the late Indian Independence period of 1947. Folk Singer Ila Arun also plays a major role in the movie.

The film is scheduled for release on April 14, 2017. Vidya Balan shared the poster of Begum Jaan on Twitter and captioned "Aa rahi hoon main!":
