According to BoxOfficeIndia.com, Salman Khan starrer Tubelight did good business on Fri, Sat and Sunday but not good enough to be declared a blockbuster hit. This is keeping in mind that Muslims stayed away from cinemas till Sunday due to Ramadan. Tubelight grossed 62.75 crore nett over its first weekend which is the second highest weekend collection of the year after Bahubali - The Conclusion but that film was twice that of Tubelight. According to analysts, the weekend figures of Tubelight are pretty decent but not blockbuster figures.

There is a big national holiday on Monday which should keep the collection over 20 crore nett and then some circuits get the benefit of post but the real test will come after.
