Priyanka Chopra's dad Ashok Chopra was born on August 23, 2016. Her dad was in the army and this had a major impact on Priyanka's upbringing. She is more disciplined today thanks to her dad. Her father died in June 2013. In 2012 she got a tattoo reading "Daddy's lil girl", in his handwriting. Her dad died of cancer at the age of 64. He passed away in Mumbai at the Kokilaben Hospital.
Priyanka posted on Twitter today "Something's hurt just as bad.. Time doesn't heal everything.. Miss you papa..Would have been a very happy birthday.."
