Theaters Boycott ADHM & Movies With Pakistani Actors

Cinema Owners and Exhibitors Association of India have decided not to screen films with Pakistani actors. Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is scheduled to release this month and includes Pakistani actor Fawad Khan.

Ae Dil Hai Mushkil stars Pakistani actor Fawad Khan alongside Ranbir, Anushka and Aishwarya. The film which is set to release next week, will not be screened on the single screen cinemaa in Maharashtra and 3 other states. It would however be released in multiplexes.


Today, the Cinema Owners and Exhibitors Association of India held a third meeting to decide on the fate of Karan Johar's upcoming directorial venture ADHM. Post the meeting, Nitin Dattar, the president of the association, announced that they will not be releasing Indian films that feature Pakistani actors.

Since most people visit the Multiplexes in cities and small towns, fans would not have to worry as much as Multiplexes willbe screening Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
