The film collected Rs. 3.80 crore on the sixth day at the ticket window, bringing the total to Rs. 59.15 crore. Sui Dhaaga opened along with Vishal Bhardwaj's Pataakha, starring Sanya Malhotra and Radhika Madan in lead roles.
Despite not being a typical commercial entertainer, Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma starrer Sui Dhaaga: Made In India has attracted the audience to the cinema halls thanks to its strong content. In six days, the film raked in Rs 59.15 crore and with this total it has surpassed the lifetime business of Badlapur and Main Tera to become Varun's eighth highest grosser of all time.
