Despite not being a typical commercial entertainer, Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma starrer Sui Dhaaga: Made In India has attracted the audience to the cinema halls thanks to its strong content. In six days, the film raked in Rs 59.15 crore and with this total it has surpassed the lifetime business of Badlapur and Main Tera to become Varun's eighth highest grosser of all time.

Sui Dhaaga brings together National Award winning producer-director combo of Maneesh Sharma and Sharat Katariya after their super hit last film Dum Laga Ke Haisha. Sharat has been showered praises for writing a story that is heartwarming and emotionally overwhelming. Apart from the lead cast, the film also stars Raghubir Yadav and Namit Das in pivotal roles.
