Shilpa Shetty didn't quite make it to the top in Bollywood, however her career took off when she participated in Celebrity Big Brother Reality Show in the UK. She was voted as the winner after a much publicized racism row involving late Jade Goody, Danielle and Jo. Shilpa's popularity shot up tremendously, thanks to the beautiful way she carried herself and her honest approach in the show. Shilpa Shetty chose to settle down and married Raj Kundra post winning the show. She released Yoga DVDs and established the highly successful "Shilpa Shetty Channel" - a one-stop-shop for fitness enthusiasts across the globe.
In November, 2015, Shilpa Shetty turned author with her award winning book, The Great Indian Diet. The book touched upon various food categories and not only told us how to take care of our nutritional intake but also how to burn fat in the process.
Shilpa Shetty is now ready with her second book with Penguin Random House India, titled The Diary Of A Domestic Diva. In this book, Shilpa brings fifty of her most special recipes-some of which feature in her popular Sunday Binge videos on Instagram. The book aims to share quick and hassle-free methods of cooking healthy, nutritious and delicious meals, all of which have been favorites in the Shetty-Kundra household.
