The first look of Sony Pictures Networks Productions’ next film based on hockey legend Sandeep Singh is out. Sandeep Singh made headlines when he made a comeback into the game after being injured in an accident. In 2006, he got hit by an accidental gunshot while travelling on the Shatabdi Express to join the national team that was to fly to Germany for the World Cup. The 31-year-old hockey player is currently employed with the Haryana Police as deputy superintendent.

Diljit Dosanjh will be playing the role of Sandeep Singh in this upcoming biopic being directed by Shaad Ali. The movie will be produced by SPNP, Chitrangda Singh, Deepak Singh. The film also stars Taapsee Pannu. While exact details aren’t yet known, the actors are likely to undergo extensive training for hockey by professionals.
