Initially titled Dragon and later changed to Brahmastra, Karan Johar's next, to be directed by Ayan Mukerji, is his most ambitious project till date. The budget of this movie is estimated to be over Rs. 100 Crore making it KJo's biggest Bollywood movie till date, at least budget-wise. The film will unite Amitabh Bachchan, Ali Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor.

According to reports, KJo understands that a superhero film needs a mounting of a certain stature. The approximate budget of the film is expected to be over Rs. 100 crore, which also means that Brahmastra will be KJo's biggest film till date, budget wise. Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt-starrer Brahmastra will be a sci-fi drama and will hit the screens in 2019.
